Is it possible to do A/B testing of an extension?
I’m not talking about using an extension to do A/B testing for a website. I’m talking about A/B testing the extension itself.
It would be great if AMO allowed a version to go out to only half (or some other percent) of users so that we can decide if a feature is beneficial or not.
You can’t do partial rollouts of versions with AMO. You could however use some system in the extension itself to decide which group the current profile belongs to. So you can’t do staged rollouts, but you can do A/B testing.
