# About auto-update issue

Hi guys,  
My addon was an AMO addon(v1.0), now it has been updated to self-hosted(v2.0).  
If users are using AMO addon(v1.0), can it be auto-updated to v2.0?

Hi @chnprice. Your users won’t receive an automatic update unless you add an `update__url` to your manifest. We have added `update__url` to our manifest. Could you @ check our add-on [AliPrice Shopping Assistant for AliExpress]?
