# Add-on protection

Hi it is possible to add a function to protect an add-on/extension for preventing a user the removal with a password ?

Hi!

Firefox for Enterprise has policies for IT and administrators to prevent access to the Add-ons Manager and about:addons. However, I don’t think this policy works with passwords.
