Hey, I developed a tool that is used for my workplace, that only triggers on websites that are locked behind midway authentication rendering it useless to anyone who downloads it. It’s a tool we have been using to help improve workflow drastically at my site and for some reason all updates have not been going through for about a month. Is there any way we can figure out why this has been happening?
Keeping in mind that I am at a warehouse sharing IP with others, I know one of my assistants tried to upload an extension over a month ago multiple times and got denied so I am thinking our IP got flagged?
Hi, and thanks for reaching out, and for laying out the detail, it really helps.
There is a restriction affecting your submissions. It was triggered because our system flagged something, and given what you described, the shared IP at your warehouse may well be the cause.
I’m raising it with the team so they can review the restriction alongside your add-on, and they’ll lift it if they judge that’s the right approach.
Our review times have also been stretched by a large influx of submissions lately, which has added to the delay. We wrote about what’s happening and what we’re doing about it here: Important update: Addressing the long manual review times ( Important update: Addressing the long manual review times ).
In the mean time is there a workaround if it is an IP issue? Would it be worth trying to update from my home desktop or is our extension flagged completely.
I don’t have the necessary visibility to tell you definitively that this is an IP-related issue. Even if you update to a new version from another IP, the restriction will remain until someone manually reviews it and removes it.
