# Any good ideas for TV and A/C irda control

Hi, has anyone one got any links to infra red control projects to use with the gateway either wifi or lan control ?.

There are two solutions integrated as adapters currently: broadlink and logitech harmony. I maintain the harmony adapter, so I use that one myself and can only say that it’s not as reliable as I’d like, though nothing except for the physical harmony remote is as reliable as I’d like.

Seams like the broadlink addon is dead ? nothing on github for about 6 months  
any thoughts on this working [How to Control your TV through Alexa and Smartthings](http://thingsthataresmart.wiki/index.php?title=How_to_Control_your_TV_through_Alexa_and_Smartthings) or [ESP8266 Compatible IR Blaster that accepts HTTP commands for use with services like Amazon Echo](https://github.com/mdhiggins/ESP8266-HTTP-IR-Blaster)
