B2G on Halium?

Hi everyone,

Are any of the B2G OS community contributing to the Halium project at all?

From what I understand, Halium will provide a consistent interface on top of AOSP to which Linux-based OSes can be ported. At present I think they’re working on the Nexus 5 and Fairphone 2, both of which have B2G OS builds I think (or used to).
Does the Halium approach work for B2G/boot2web? Or not?

Cheers

Unlike Ubuntu Phone, b2g is compiled and executed in native android environment. That is, porting b2g to halium is an unnecessary step. It might be still fun, but no obvious advantage gain I’d say.

Thanks! When you say it like that it’s quite obvious!
