Hi,
To make it simple,

Just like “Building the Web of Things” book, I would like to know the step by step procedure from the scratch to build this gateway explaining all the concepts involved in details with simplified UI and limited plugins in order to build my own gateway like mozilla . Can mozilla team help me with this, as this step by step tutorial from scratch can benefit lot of students to understand the function of an IoT gateway.

Hi,

Well I am not building my own gw,
but can share some notes I wrote for using IoT.js as alternative JS engine,
more that 50% is generic info,
feel free to reuse for your students (please respect licence):

Setting up gateway:

> **[Gateway](https://github.com/rzr/webthing-iotjs/wiki/Gateway)**
>
> IoT.js implementation of WebThing API (based on webthing-node) - rzr/webthing-iotjs

And an extra basic webapp to browse REST resources:

> **[WebApp](https://github.com/rzr/webthing-iotjs/wiki/WebApp)**
>
> IoT.js implementation of WebThing API (based on webthing-node) - rzr/webthing-iotjs

And more pages, building things using IoT.js (same as Node):

> **[Home](https://github.com/rzr/webthing-iotjs/wiki)**
>
> IoT.js implementation of WebThing API (based on webthing-node) - rzr/webthing-iotjs

Hope this help,

Btw is there an entry page on mozilla wiki for sharing more contents ?
