I submitted my extension
Within hour of the upload, the extension was marked as “Disabled by Mozilla”.
Ext. name - NiceTry PQ Wallet Daisugi
The email I received only says that it violates the “Acceptable Use – Deceptive or misleading” policy, but it doesn’t explain which part of the extension or listing caused the issue.
There is nothing in the review history that gives me any actionable information, so I’m not sure what I should investigate or change.
My questions are:
- Is there any way to know what specifically triggered the disablement?
- Does this usually indicate an automated anti-abuse decision or a manual review?
- Is there someone from the add-ons team who could take another look or point me in the right direction?
Extension GUID: {46d5efd4-4d9d-4191-8632-882a39e71852}
Developer Hub reference: 36394c1c8e4740d1963b
Additional information: “Manage Status & Versions” returns a 404 page, so I cannot access the review history or submit an updated version through the existing add-on’s page. Uploading through “Submit a New Add-on” returns “Duplicate add-on ID found”.
The updated package, version 2.1.7, passes automated validation with 0 errors and 9 warnings.
Could you help restore access to the existing add-on and explain how I can submit the updated version for review?
Thanks.
