Getting back into it

(Stephen J Murphy) #1

Hey folks,

Returning to Moz after a few months away and looking to dig my teeth into the TC Program. Where should I start

#2

Welcome back!

I would suggest you to update your tablet with latest community build: https://yalam.co.uk/b2g/flatfish/20150519.zip

Great! Thanks for that. I assume you still cannot flash it via OS X? Linux/Win only?

Thanks Gaby

Glad to be getting back into the swing of things. Bugs to file and fix, communities to grow.

Correct.

(Yuniers) #7

Anybody know how flash New Tab InFocus with last file published on yalam.co.uk https://yalam.co.uk/b2g/flatfish/fxos-flatfish-15-05-25-twrp.zip?

(Yousef Alam) #8

That’s definitely something you don’t want to flash, I’ve deleted it.

The device doesn’t seem to be recognised in fastboot mode so the script fails. (adb devices succeeds before the reboot in fastboot mode). Any suggestions for drivers, etc? I’m using Win8.1

I have the same problem this week after upgrade my device. I didn’t have time to follow https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mozilla.dev.b2g/ToEfNmvmHqQ/tNWKx5-uzTEJ.

Any suggestions for drivers, etc? I’m using Win8.1

Check the previous link.

(Andrew Williamson) #11

thanks, that worked (after much gnashing of teeth, and installing bootloaders)

(Yuniers) #12

Thank you, soon I will update to 20150706 for test changes.

(Borisbudini) #13

use custom recoveries:https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/t/some-nice-custom-recovery-hooray/2194 but as Yousef said , not that

(Luigi Tedone) #14

This version doesn’t have the tablet interface. All icons are big, I think it is the phone interface.

(Ram) #15

I also see different interface with this build. Are you sure that this is for tablet ?

(YFdyh000) #16

see the https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/t/no-more-builds-available-after-20150701/3100, try the 20150519.zip on https://yalam.co.uk/b2g/flatfish/.

(Bittin) #17

Would be cool to join this program if you got anymore tablets ?

(Andrew [:feer56] ) #18

bittin,

Thank you for your interest in TCP. At this moment there are no tablets to distribute.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Best regards,

Andrew Truong (feer56)
