Grouping devices?

In my opinion a quit basic task in the UI should be to group a set of devices, for example all the bulbs in the living room, and turn them on or off with one button or a daylight rule or whatever, instead of turning them on and off individually. This is a basic functionality in for example Node-Red or the Phillips Hue app. Is there any plans for this?

This feature is being tracked in https://github.com/mozilla-iot/gateway/issues/1191 - maybe in 0.6!

And with spider rules in 0.5, I have found it quite useful to “group” things like these 8 RGB LEDs into one action by using a “virtual” thing (light or whatever) as a controller. My single voice command of “turn on the rainbow” does what I want to this group of 8.
