Is patient health sensitive information compatible with deep speech?
DeepSpeech is a speech-to-text implementation, not a full service or a system, and thus it doesn’t make much sense to ask if it’s HIPAA compliant.
That said, DeepSpeech is designed to run efficiently client-side, which means sensitive voice data doesn’t ever have to leave the user’s machine. This means it could be used as a building block for a system that is HIPAA compliant.
