How do I set up a local testing server?

Hi guys,

I’m trying to set up a local testing server but struggling to do so. I’m following this article but can’t make sense of the 3rd point.

Here is what I’ve tried. Please could somebody let me know where I’m going wrong.

cd mean change directory to get inside folder called my-server

so from that error that mean the folder not exist so create the folder first on the current bath

Thanks for the response but I don’t follow.

I have a folder on my desktop called my-server. How would I go about setting up a local server to test the directory? Please let me know if my question doesn’t make sense. Perhaps I’m asking the wrong thing.

idk much about mac so check the following right click on the myserver folder is there option to open in terminal
or not?

if not possible then open the terminal then type ls to see all folder on your current directry then use cd to move in till you get to the myserver folder
