# How to associate a process with tab?

When I see something standing out in `top`, all I have to go by for Firefox is “Isolated Web Content” for the process ID. I can I turn a pid into a window / tab?

If the process name could identify the tab number (say, like “alt-3” will go to tab three in the current window), that would go a long way. If it could identify the window as well, somehow, even better.

Or maybe there’s a way from one of the about: pages to make the match?

It looks like about:processes will do. There doesn’t seem to be a way to sort by pid, but find in page works.

(I do not run snap or flatpak. I’m using the version from the Mozilla APT repository rather than the distro package.)
