# I tried to update one of the add-ons I'm using through about:addons

and I was told the add-on has been “disabled by administrator” but with no explanation. How do I find out why? If the add-on is malware, I’ll get rid of it. But if it’s just somebody at Mozilla politically disagreeing with it I’d rather keep it.
