# LastPass password manager

LastPass [4.9.0](https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/lastpass-password-manager/versions/?page=1#version-4.9.0) has, in its `manifests.json`:

`"strict_min_version": "52.0"`

– but it’s unusable with Firefox ESR 52.7.3:

(Similarly unusable with Waterfox 56.1.0\_1.)

Could/should that type of incompatibility be caught through automation?
