Hey all,

we’ve had a few meetings to discuss the browser compat data project already, and it turns out to be nice to discuss status and answer questions on a weekly basis.

The browser compat data project is about this repository: [https://github.com/mdn/browser-compat-data](https://github.com/mdn/browser-compat-data).
We are trying to move from static tables in our MDN wiki pages to structured JSON data, that MDN pages will consume using KumaScript. See e.g. [Cache-Control](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/Cache-Control) for how that looks like on an MDN page (click edit to actually see the difference, the table design is still the same for now).

The meeting takes place **Thursdays, 9.30 am PDT** ([public MDN calendar](https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=mozilla.com_2d35383434313235392d323530%40resource.calendar.google.com))

Meeting notes are available on GitHub. [https://github.com/mdn/browser-compat-data/wiki/Weekly-meeting-notes](https://github.com/mdn/browser-compat-data/wiki/Weekly-meeting-notes)

We would love to see you there!

I wonder if it would be worthwhile to post in here when those notes are updated, so people who are only peripherally following the project can keep up to date.

Would it make sense to add this meeting to the Meetings page on the wiki, even if it’s not a permanent meeting?

Yes, totally. I will open new threads in here when there are significant updates to share.
