Hello everyone! I’m pleased to announce that Common Voice will be mentoring a student through the [Google Summer of Code](http://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/) program, which is an annual initiative that aims to bring more students into open source software development. We received many excellent applications, and I’m delighted to say that @jnranikuabe will be joining us from now until the end of August to work on a kiosk-style demo view optimized for tablets, to provide a smooth onboarding and showcasing experience for our volunteers and outreach teams.

@jnranikuabe is a rising junior at Swarthmore College in the US. He is particularly excited about building larger-scale user-facing applications and learning more about UI/UX design. Please help me in making him feel welcome in our community!
