# Renaming An Addon

I have an unlisted addon here  
`https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/developers/addon/text-uri/edit`

1. I’ve tried changing its name from “Text Link” to “Text URI” but couldn’t.
2. I didn’t want to change its guid because the “old” guid would be blocked forever.

How should I go about changing the name of my addon. Is changing the guid and resubmitting the only way? Thank you.

Oops, sorry, the url is:  
`https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/developers/addon/text-link2/edit`

But regardless, you can mark the post as solved (or close it) because I’ve decided to re-submit the addon if I do decide to list it, so it doesn’t matter what its name is now. Thank you, though for looking into it. Thanks.
