# Save an attachment automatically

I want to do this, but I don’t know if it’s possible.  
When I receive an email with an attachment, i want to save the attachment in a specific folder, even If I don’t read the email before. It’s possible to do?

If you intend to use it with a gmail account you may use scripting :

Depends if you need it for your own usage or to propose this as an extension or web service.

Thanks for answering. It was my mistake, because I don’t explaned well enought. I want to do it with Thunderbird, maybe with an addon or something like that, and not only with gmail accounts. I hope I explained better now.

It certainly sounds possible with an extension.
