# Silent installation of WebExtension through Application installer

Hi,

I have written one WebExtension still in development phase. I want this WebExtension to be install as part of my installer. I had put my manifest file in extension folder. For installing my WebExtension i put this in following folder %appdata%\Mozilla\Extensions{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}\MyExtensionId\extension. I have also created following registry entry.HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions\MyExtensionId and given default value %appdata%\Mozilla\Extensions{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}.

Still my extension is not available in Firefox(not even in developer edition).

Please suggest.

I found the solution… my manifiest.json should be in following folder. %appdata%\Mozilla\Extensions{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}\MyExtensionId
