Hello AMO Team,

I accidentally deleted my add-on with the ID “rs-multitool-sf@amazon-paragon”
from my account. I would like to restore it so I can continue publishing
updates under the same ID.

SUMMARY

I accidentally deleted my signed add-on from my Developer Hub account.

Because this specific Add-on ID is approved and white-listed in my employer’s enterprise policies, I urgently need to re-upload and sign a new version using the same ID.

Here are the details from my previous approval notification:

  • Add-on AMO ID: 3027211
  • Reference: [ref:Addon#3027211]
  • Last approved version: 3.0.0

Could an admin/reviewer please help me unblock or restore access to this Add-on entry so I can upload the new version?

Hi @DlaUnited and thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, once an add-on is deleted, the deletion is permanent and we’re not able to recover it.

Regarding the add-on ID: we block reuse of IDs from deleted add-ons as a safety measure for our users. If an ID could be reclaimed after deletion, someone else could register it and distribute a malicious add-on under an identifier that users (or their existing installs) already trust.

You’ll need to submit the add-on under a new ID. Apologies for the inconvenience.
