In trying Show Server IP 2,1 (“COMPATIBLE WITH FIREFOX 57+”) on Firefox Nightly 57.0a1 (2017-08-10) (64-bit) running on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit), I came across some issues:
While the host of the top-level .html page is displayed, the results for other hosts used for building the page are inconsistent: sometimes not all the servers are displayed (and that’s not counting servers that had previously populated the cache but aren’t actually accessed again for the current page), sometimes a server from building the page from a previous site is displayed for the current site’s hosts.
The “IP” icon seems to disappear if I follow a link and then use the browser Back button, then the icon is gone for apparently several pages I click through. (I haven’t discovered the happy combination to get the icon back. While writing this post, for example, the icon is missing.)
What I was hoping for was to find a WebExtensions replacement for SixOrNot.
Current extensions installed are:
- Duplicate Tab 1.3
- Gecko Profiler 0.17
- Hostname in title 1.0 (I need something like this for KeePass.)
- Show Server IP 2.1
- SixOrNot 2.0.2 (LEGACY)
- Tab Center Redux 0.4.1
- uBlock Origin 1.13.9B8 (now WebExtensions, from AMO Beta channel)
- Bookmarks Organizer 1.3.0 currently disabled
I would appreciate any helpful suggestions.
