The descriptions of Chinese dialects are not precise

I am quite confused when I visited https://commonvoice.mozilla.org/en/languages,
and see the following languages has been localized for ongoing Speak and Listen contributions:
Chinese (Hong Kong)
Chinese (Taiwan)
Chinese (China)

The above descriptions can be used to describe the writing; however, Chinese has so many dialects. Do you mean?

Cantonese (Hong Kong)
Mandarin (Taiwan)
Putonghua (China)

Those are the locales, not the dialects. I believe that there is a separate Cantonese instance, see the yue code.
