Hello, please excuse my bad english. My mother tongue is German.

```
      I would like to submit a request to the development team. I have been using Thunderbird for a long time and am very satisfied with it.
      I save my communication, that means my outgoing and incoming emails always in subfolders. This creates an archive of my emails.
      It would be a huge data loss for me if suddenly something with the program does not work anymore.
      I therefore wish a new feature in the Thunderbird, which makes it possible to backup (and restore) the email communication.
```

Thank you

That add-on offers backup and restore as one of it’s features.
