# UI refresh is not automatic

Using version 0.7.0 GW and rest api , ubuntu, browser Firefox v65.  
add by url + submit/save/done, device icon appears, other items grow dim, everything lights up, but ‘alternate link’ icon (aka chain) does not appear, waiting …, i still need to refresh (F5) the browser to get the complete device showing or add another device…

Also latest version sometimes loses an already active device (dim) [arduino/micropython], so need to remove and add …, not so in previous version.
