I have created a adapter using bluetooth sensors, and several are discovered.
But the are all shown on the things screen with the same description / name.
How can I add code that will allow me to update the sensor with a unique name identifying it ?

After saving your things, they can be renamed by opening the properties view, clicking the three dot icon in the lower right, and then clicking Edit.

Ahh, it may be a coincidence, but the discovered devices are no longer updating, I think not.
Seems that as soon as I renamed them, the logging shows that the devices were no longer being polled !
restarting the service seems to have cured it, I will monitor it may be unrelated.
