AFAIK, the only way is to put the extension ID into a search engine.

For Firefox extensions, there’s a better way, but it doesn’t seem to work on addons.thunderbird.net:

In case you want to later correlate such an URL to the actual extension: Go to about:debugging in the browser, select “This Firefox” (or other release channel name).
