Drop Down boxes

I have been getting tons of complaints about the white drop down boxes, file, edit, bookmarks, etc. Is there something that Mozilla has changed lately? Mine have always been dark because I have my Firefox settings as dark but that doesn’t seem to have any effect anymore. Can someone with know-how figure out how we can make those drop downs dark at least even if it doesn’t match the theme color?

Sorry, but I don’t quite understand the question.

If you’re referring to the background of the Applications menu (the “hamburger menu” in the top right corner of Firefox’s UI), Firefox Color calls this the “Popup Background.” This setting corresponds to the theme.colors.popup key in the theme’s manifest.

Sorry I didn’t make myself clear. What the people that are contacting me are talking about is the bookmark, history, edit, settings, etc. drop downs. No matter what theme you have now, it is white. They used to be dark. And people seem to really dislike that. So they are asking me to update my themes and I have no way of doing that and really can’t answer there question of why all of a sudden they are white.

For clarity, are you refereeing to the toolbar menus provided by the host operating system? If so, what OSes are users complaining about this issue using?

The Firefox menu bar. But it seems to be using dark drop downs on dark themes and light on light themes now. I am using Windows and I never thought to ask the user complaints about what OS they were using.

Screenshots of the faulty drop-down boxes would be very helpful here, especially if someone wanted to report the problem on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/home
