@mkohler It seems Sakha is on pontoon, how often do we sync with pontoon for the locale list?

You need to have a place/link where this newspaper is clearly saying the content is under Public Domain (cc-0).

If the result is good you can (in fact I did a few thousands from Catalan Common Voice Corpus → Spanish). Make sure the original Russian sentences are released under Public Domain (cc-0).

We don’t. We’re using https://github.com/mozilla/voice-web/blob/master/locales/all.json for the export (to not create non-available language folders in the voice-web project). As far as I remember, we decided that new languages should be handled centrally and then we get informed if we need to add a new language to the collector?

Thanks for answers. Ok i will find Public Domain sentences.

Hello @mkohler.

I dont understand what i need to do for submitting the Sakha language to the collector? Or i can only wait?

Hello @nukeador.

I find place where can take books in Public Domain on Sakha language.

But now on https://common-voice.github.io/sentence-collector/#/add
still missing Sakha language.

We are going to add the locale as soon as @mkohler has some free time, thanks for your patience.

I’ve enabled it just now, please report any issues you see :slight_smile:

@nukeador @mkohler Thank you - Махтал!

In Sakha language “Thank you! = Махтал (Makhtal)”
