John Lennon said: Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans… And that’s kind of me. At 17, I joined the Marine Corps. I was like the Tom Cruise character from Taps. But after 2 terms, I wanted to grow my hair and join the rest of my friends (why I don’t know anymore).

So I got out and did a couple of jobs: grocery store cashier; Front Desk clerk/Night auditor at a hotel, construction work and finally as a waiter. It was during all this that I realized I wanted to be an actor and started to study with one of the directors from Nickelodean and some of the directors/producers from Universal. Did some commercials, bit parts and one major role in a “b” movies (but hey, I’m on the box cover).

About this time I got sucked into timeshare - short hours, a product I believed in (and still do), and okay money - enough to get by, but not get ahead, and- Bonus!- leaving me qualified for nothing. Still dabbling in my true passion, I did some stage plays and started writing screenplays. I’ve got 3 completed but none produced.

And then someone delivered the wrong case of corona to Orlando and shut my industry down, leaving me employed, “but not”, with nothing but time on my hands to rethink those “plans”… which leads me to now.

I’m ANALytical, logical, pretty computer savvy, and have plenty of time on my hands. So I made up my mind to learn as much as possible while trapped and with a little bit of luck leave the sales profession behind. So that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Now keep your hands away from the cage and feed the monkey!
