Add-on corrupted message on install on Windows

Hi,

My extension is deployed now thanks to @caitlin but now I have a corrupted message when I try to install it on Windows but works fine on Linux and MacOS.

I checked the other posts and :

  • I bumped (and corrected) version numbers (both on my manifest and package.json)
  • created a brand new Firefox profile to test
  • uninstalled Firefox completely (also deleted the remaining folder) and reinstalled it

Nothing above helped, has anybody an idea ?
Thanks

Have you made sure your time is correct?

Thanks that was the problem !
I have a time issue with my dual boot Windows/Linux that shifts my time on Windows.

Thanks for your help @freaktechnik :+1:

Yes, thatโ€™s quite normal. Windows sets the system time to your local time, while Linux sets it to UTC. The internet has some workarounds, but none of them really worked for me in the past when I dual booted.

I know I fixed it on my other laptop (this one is new ) and here is a good explanation of why and how to fix it if you want.

@freaktechnik how did you find out that this was my problem ?

As I said, itโ€™s quite normal when you multiboot Linux and Windows, precisely due to the different default behaviors.
