Addon to indicate are logged in to google?

Hi, there -

Is there an addon anywhere that simply shows when you are logged in to google? For example, a simple icon that is red for logged in, green for not logged in.

Ideally, this would be able to be sync’d across devices, but that’s secondary.

I’m not aware of any add-ons that do this, but it seems feasible to build something like this. The key APIs you’d use are:

• action to show the current state
• cookies to read Google’s authentication cookies and detect when they
• host permissions for whatever host Google uses for authentication (accounts.google.com?)

And… I guess that’s about it, actually. All that’s left is to figure out which cookies reliably signal when a user is logged in or not and to wire it up.
