Ajax overview page needs some love

…or needs to be killed?

Every external links there are so outdated I feel nostalgic. It even has a library from 2005. I’d add something else (axios?) in its place, but I’m not so sure how much I can be opinionated.

In my opinion every said links should be reviewed and removed except Ajax: A New Approach to Web Applications (for historic reason) and XMLHttpRequest Specification (specification).

Buuut… how?

I’d say (as a personnal / contributor point of view) go ahead and make the edition you feel necessary.
You are a long time contributor (\o/ :)), feel free to remove such links: if they are outdated, noone will miss them and readers of MDN won’t be misguided.

If you think a broader consensus is needed then Discourse is the right place
