Alternative to betterprivacy LSO flash object remover blocker legacy add on

The addon betterprivacy has worked extremely well with Firefiox to delete LSOs (flash objects) upon each restart (quit) of Firefox.

However it is a legacy app and apparently will not be updated and will stop working with FF 57.

Any alternatives?

This spreadsheet in the link below lists the most used extensions as of today and any possible FF57 alternatives.

According to the sheet, there will be no port of Better Privacy.

According to the notes, “Flash is click to play by default now, so there is no risk of third-party tracking. Additionally Flash cookies are deleted with regular cookies by Firefox.”

Better Privacy is basically obsolete. In fact, it’s been removed from the AMO.

Thank you.

As you know flash objects (LSOs) are used to track, and are deposited by websites like eBay and PayPal. Anyway, where does it state that flash objects (LSOs) are removed automatically with regular cookies, if FF is set to delete cookies? I mean yes I read that on that sheet you attached, but is that direct from FF, or just some commentary from outsiders? If FF does delete all LSOs along with cookies, would be great.

My current recommendation for removing flash objects if you are running FireFox 57 or higher, is CLEAR FLASH COOKIES (by Chris Pederson), which is an add on for the FIREFOX browser:
