Android 12 Firefox Mobile Fullscreen Bug?

Hi there,

I have experienced a strange behaviour in Firefox mobile 97.1.0 on Android 12 (Samsung UI4.0). When starting fullscreen mode, there is sometimes a gray bar at the bottom which overlays the content. Additionally, window.innerHeight reports a value which is too large.

A very lightweight example can be found here, just tap the screen to enter fullscreen:

Very same behaviour can be seen when using youtube.com.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Dietmar

Seen this in other apps also. My guess is that its oneUI bug rather than Firefox

Strange, but what could be the reason why fullscreen works as expected in Chrome?

@stupkad have no idea…

Same happening here. With Android 12 and Samsung ui4.0.

I have to add also, after exiting the full screen video, the firefox bar (which I use at bottom of the screen) appears under the android interface buttons.

Same here. I’m using Android 10 with Samsung and all webpages are in Fullscreen.

It seems that the last update has fixed this issue.
