We’ve made some changes to the way add-on download stats are calculated on AMO’s stats dashboards.
The big changes are:
- Stats are no longer calculated from aggregated server logs. They now use Firefox telemetry data. This could lower your stats numbers as users have the ability to opt out of sending telemetry.
- You can now use standard UTM parameters to track download stats. We’ll be removing support for the custom
srcparameter.
