[Call for Participation] Social Support Bootcamp

Hi everybody,

I’m excited to let you know that the call for participants for the Social Support Bootcamp is finally open now!

Social Support Bootcamp is a 2-week training program (7-20 September 2020) where we will pair active contributors/mentors and new contributors/mentees (that’s hopefully you!). In that way, mentors can practice their leadership skills and mentees can learn more about the support field and how they can contribute to the Social Support program.

The Social Support program* has been around for a while, and made up of a group of diverse volunteers and staff that supports Firefox users in the social network, mainly on Twitter (@FirefoxSupport). If you’ve been with Mozilla for a while, it’s kind of a spin-off of the previous SUMO program we called Army of Awesome* (oh, the good old days).

If you feel like a social media savvy and wanted to learn more about the support field, you can sign up to be a participant on the Bootcamp by filling out this form. The form will be open until 01/09/2020. You can check out the requirements on the form, but please, get in touch with me if you have any questions about this.

Keep rocking the internet,

Kiki
