Can we just have one browser that respects user privacy and is made for users by users, because this AI BS is getting tiring and it doesnā€™t do much other then sell and harvest all of user data that gets fed into a prediction machine that gets advertised as future tech that can do anything and the only thing it achieves is statifiyng investors and pissing off users.

Well 3rd party AI companies do and also why did Mozilla remove the section do we sell user data that said we donā€™t sell / never sold / never will sell user data, from the firefox page

Well, no one forces you to use third-party AI services. Regarding the TOU update, see this blog post.

Thereā€™s no easy way to say this, so Iā€™ll be equally frank:

I went out of my way to make sure I had an account here. I even updated my username. All to make sure I could complain on a forum where Mozilla might hear me say that all this LLM stuff is a waste of time and money thatā€™s only going to generate slop, pollute the earth and lead to a tremendous economic bust that we may never recover from. If anyone from Mozilla is reading this, you have been taken in by smooth marketing that sold you on a product that cannot deliver on their promises. People come to FireFox to stay away from the dystopian nonsense of other browsers. Please do not squander that goodwill on something like this.
