Cannot move slider to activate add on

I am trying to activate Adblock plus from the extentions menu. I am using a Samsung sm-t807v with android 5.0.2 When I go to tools/add ons, then search adblock plus, the add on comes up, with the slider to activate it. But the slider will not move. I have tried other add-ons with the same results. In fact, none of the add-ons will activate.

Which version of Firefox are you using?

I believe that it is 54.0.1. It was downloaded from the Google Play store for my android tablet.

I found I could install it with the slider - also 54.0.1 from G-Play. Maybe some other addon you and they have is interfering.

If you ‘request desktop site’ can you install it with the button?

I mentioned this problem with my own extension. It’s not my extension. I tried loading Adblock Plus and get the same non-functional slider.

I have no other extensions loaded other than the H264 codec that Mozilla ships pre-installed.

Add-on installs fine if I request the desktop site and touch the install button there. It’s just the slider widget that’s broken.

Firefox 54.0.1, Android 4.1.2. Cat B15 phone.

Tap the ‘slider’. It doesn’t slide.

Using FF 55.0.1 & uMatrix 1.0.1b5 Webextention. The slider pops back to to top when you try to select one of the sites option or just scroll off the slider to the site info on the left. Does not do it with v1.0.0 on FF 55.0.1

I filed an issue for this:
