Constant 'Secure Connection Failed' Error on Youtube

I continue to get the " SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP" Error when trying to open youtube.com
I’ve tried multiple fixes for the problem but they haven’t done anything.

  • I have version 100.0 for mac
  • I have tried to reset the TLS and SSL3 settings to no avail (none were highlighted as changed)
  • I even tried a re-install

Does anyone know a fix? Or am I just screwed?

So, it turns out that shutting the computer down for a while seems to have fixed it.
