I was invited today to take part in a radio program “Ṛṛeḥba n yisefra” (or Poetry arena), a program broadcasted on the Algerian national radio, a kabyle radio in Tizi ouzou, to celebrate the International Mother Language Day and talk about Kabyle language and voice recognition. I talked about Mozilla’s Common Voice and free corpora. The program will be broadcasted next Thursday 27/02/2020.
Radio is an effective way in Kabylia to recruit more contributors. Radio and other public institutions were asked to offer their content to the CV kab team and put it under CC0 license.
