But according to http://www.internetlivestats.com/internet-users/india/ its 34.8%.

I was wondering if the equal rating team could help with some kind of benchmarks for information selection, that would be really helpful in literature survey of the problem.

The data that we have is from the, Barriers to Internet adoption, McKinsey 2014; Statistics based on 2013 data, We have added the data you sent over to the Key facts page as it is a good benchmark for the 2016 - 2017 years.
