This is my first time to use developer edition. It seems that developer edition occupy more CPU resource that the release one. And This is how I tested it. Firstly I opened a web page which would play online video in it. Then I minimized firefox. Finally I observe the cpu usage with top command.
With the release edition, the cpu usage would decrease significantly after minimization. But not for the developer edition.
