I want to know if I can fix this small bug myself: I found that one of the Hindi dictionaries is name Hungarian in the list: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/.
Huh. It looks like that is actually a Hungarian dictionary that is intentionally using a Hindi locale to avoid conflicts with the normal Hungarian dictionary.
It’s not possible to create a separate dictionary for a non-standard locale. Hungarian users probably already have the standard Hungarian dictionary installed and want to be able to keep using it. For this reason, the dictionary is set to a different locale, Hindi (hi-IN).
I’ve reached out to the developer that created the dictionary and asked them to use a Hungarian locale as expected.
