Did Firefox change my search engine?

I use Firefox on Linux Mint 20.2. Following a recent update of FF to 95.0.1, I discovered that Google had been removed from Search, and Yahoo had been added. Was this an intentional change?

Same here. Very annoying. Not sure if a packaging error or something mozilla did?

Yes, Linux Mint ships Firefox with a different set of default search engines. Mozilla continues to use Google as a default search engine.
