Do Mozilla have plans to release Firefox for Nintendo Switch through Nintendo eShop?
At the time of writing, Nintendo Switch has no internet browser. However, the internet browser is hidden under DNS 45.55.142.122, but the internet browser is outdated.
The Nintendo Switch has a quad-core 1.02 GHz Nvidia Tegra CPU with Maxwell-based GPU, 4 GB RAM and 32 GB flash storage (64 GB for OLED), so I think Firefox meets the requirements. The built-in internet browser can only utilise 1 CPU core and 1 GB RAM, but I can expect Firefox to utilise all 4 CPU cores and 4 GB RAM.
I also expect Firefox to be optimised on handheld format on Nintendo Switch, taking advantage of the touchscreen.
