Does Gecko Profiles gather data about RAM?

Hi,

There are quite a few users complaining about Firefox v57 has high RAM usage. Most of the times this is due to extensions.

If I end up bumping into people that have high RAM usage on a fresh profile with no extensions, should I point them to Gecko profiler? Is there any better tool to record data about RAM usage the same way GeckoProfiler does for CPU?

Thank you,
Andrei

I think about:memory is easier to start with, but still highly technical and not for common users. For them I would suggest to go standard way through Firefox Refresh or disabling extensions one by one to find the one causing issues.

And if they have issues with a site, not with the profile, not with extensions how should I report a bug with this info? Is about:memory good for reporting memory issues or should I report with Gecko Profiler?
