I’m not a developer, I just wanted to find some place to report a plugin, which attempts to install coinhiverminer.js or something like that. Couldn’t find an easy place to report, so I created this account. My antivirus program blocked it. It’s a youtube downloader called YouTube to MP3 3.0.1
If the extension is hosted on the Mozilla Add-ons site, there is a “Report this add-on for abuse” button below the five star icons in the left column.
If the extension is NOT hosted on the Mozilla Add-ons site, then someone would need to assess whether the extension is a candidate for blocking, which I believe would require a link to the XPI file.

You have/had version 3.0.1 or 5.0.1? The version I see (on the Add-ons site) is 5.0.1.
You are correct. I had not updated in a while. However, the previous version ( 3.0.1) did not exhibit this activity at first. As if there was a timer builtin. I just upgraded to the latest version. Will keep an eye on it. It hasn’t triggered my antivirus yet.

The reviews are all 5* - but you can only flag ones that have text not just the stars (80 of which are fake)
