Firefox Containers Feature Request: All links from google search open in seperate container

I have confined google to it’s own container tab. When I search for something, and then open that link, I would like it to automatically open in another container.

The initial feature I am thinking of is the ability to set my google container to be used for ONLY the sites which I have set to always open within it. Though if there is a better way of achieving the same result…

From a privacy perspective, this is a MUST have feature. It could be just a setting of specific containers to open links (not in the containers list) outside the container.

This is exactly what I need. If I confine a site to a container I need to have it open links to other sites in no container or an other container by default. Unless it’s a site that has already a container assigned to it. Google is a nice example: I don’t want google to track cookies from any webshop I open from their e-mail. (Agreed, I shouldn’t be on gmail in the first place if this means this much to me.)

I know this is an old thread that hasn’t seen any activity in a while but I came here looking for exactly this. Was this ever implemented and I am missing when I can set that?
