New release of Firefox DevTools MCP. Available on npm at https://www.npmjs.com/package/@mozilla/firefox-devtools-mcp

Added

  • New print_page tool. It saves the current page as a PDF file and has optional landscape and background options. It uses print CSS, so you can use it to check print styles

Fixed

  • --profile-path now reuses a profile that the server created, instead of creating a new profile inside it. The server marks its profiles with a .firefox-devtools-mcp file. Paths without this marker still use the firefox_devtools_mcp_profile subfolder
  • list_pages, select_page, close_page, navigate_page and new_page no longer bring every tab to the front. They now read the tab list with WebDriver BiDi
  • select_page and close_page now act on the tab from the last tab list, even if tabs were opened or closed since then

Changed

  • list_pages no longer lists tabs that are not loaded yet, for example restored tabs that were never opened
  • If the title of a tab cannot be read within 1 second, the tab is listed with the title (unknown)
